Happy almost weekend my fabulous friend! I apologize for being behind on my blog game lately… I have been so overwhelmed! I just started three new internships with The Hub @ Texas Tech, Keds, and I am a part of the first group of campus influencers for Reward Style!

Now that I am in school mode and have everything back to how I like it, organized, organized and over organized, I can enjoy the fun stuff- like my blog! I truly do love blogging and sharing all of my fun finds with you!

I have a planned post coming up to teach you how to use liketoknow.it, aka every fashion obsessed Instagram users dream! Get excited! If you are eager to sign up right this second then go to www.liktoknow.it/signup/texastech to get in on the fun!

Something I absolutely love about the fashion world lately is the abundance of oversized items! These pieces are great whenever you have had a few too many pumpkin spice cookies (guilty) or are just not feeling comfortable with yourself (guilty)!

Lubbock is starting to get cold for fall and I could not be more excited about it! It also seems to be a slow and longly anticipated process but it is much worth the wait. Has the colder weather come into your area yet?

The fun part about a new season is mixing and matching pieces from the current and upcoming one. This shirt says, “I am so summer”, but this skirt says “I am so fall”. It is not often when pieces from separate times of the year work so well together, but when they do, I take advantage!

I have a little confession to make… I have a bit of a leather addiction! From skirts, dresses, and tops, to shoes and leggings, I have it all! Leather is a staple piece during the colder months and it can give you a chic or edgy look.

My favorite thing to do with leather pieces is to add them to a neutral color that has either season appropriate accent colors (much like this look), or to pair it with a bold lip. Either way, you cannot go wrong!

As fall is quickly coming upon us, it can be hard to find things for the end of summer. Stores are filled with boots, sweaters and puffer vest but helloooooo… it is still almost 100 degrees in Texas! What is a girl going to do with a heavy knit at this time of the year?

The second that I saw this dress from Conversation Pieces I knew that I had to have it. It has a little bit of a fall edge to it but it is still weather appropriate. These pieces are harder to find so when I do, I get as many as I can! Navy is one of my favorite fall colors and this print is super simple.

Gladiators are one of my favorite styles of shoe, I feel like they also second for an accessory because they make such a statement.

I know a lot of people that dread cold weather but I get so excited for it! I love change and the seasons are no exception. Fall fashion has always won the contest over spring fashion in my heart. I love layers and who does not want an excuse to light a pumpkin scented candle?! You do not even want to get me started on coats… I feel like I spend so much time watching them sit in my closet so when I get to bring them out it is like Christmas! What is your favorite thing about fall?
